Get A Fancy Email Signature – including for Gmail

Have you ever wondered how people get those fancy professional looking email signatures with their Facebook and Twitter stuff all packed in there as well?

Perhaps there are other ways of sorting it out, but we use the free service from Wisestamp. This is a browser (Firefox, Chrome and that sort of thing) addon (or plugin)that you can download by going to Wisestamp.

Make Your Email Signature Even Fancier

We use it in conjunction with mylivesignature which lets you generate a fancy html signature for free – you can then cut and paste it into the Wisestamp signature framework.

If this sounds complicated, don’t worry as I’ve found a couple of videos for you to have a look at and once you actually get going, it’s much easier than it seems.

If you sign up for your free report, them you’ll get an email from me which shows you what the signature looks like when it arrives in your inbox.

The two teams of Service men plan to set out on 11 November 2011
(Armistice Day) from the Bay of Whales and Cape Evans in the
Antarctic – the respective starting points of the Scott and
Amundsen expeditions.

Enduring temperatures of up to -52°C, the two teams will spend
seventy days covering 900 miles of snow and ice, while carrying all
their food and fuel in sledges weighing 140kg each.

Team leader Lt Col Henry Worsley MBE came up with the ambitious
plan in homage of the original race, which remains the defining
event in the heroic age of polar exploration.

“The tragic loss of Capt Scott’s party on the return journey is
seared in the nation’s memory as an enduring narrative of duty and
sacrifice,” Lt Col Worsley said.

“We are not only attempting this slow and brutal challenge in
the honour of Capt Scott and Amundsen, but also as a tribute to the
men and women of the Armed Forces who have served and continue to
serve Britain in duty and often, sacrifice.”

HRH Prince William of Wales, Patron of the expedition, said: “I
am proud to be the Patron of the Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race,”
Prince William said in a message of support to the expedition.

“Six serving members of the British Army are taking on this
expedition, and I am delighted that they have chosen to support The
Royal British Legion in its 90th Anniversary year.

“This fitting tribute exemplifies the courage, determination and
pioneering spirit shown by early 20th Century explorers, and which
lives on today in the British Armed Forces.

“The Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race is a remarkable adventure,
which will be a test of character, strength and resilience. I urge
you to join me in supporting both teams to achieve their
goals.”

The Royal British Legion Director of Fundraising, Russell
Thompson, said funds raised from the expedition will help the
Legion support seriously injured Service personnel.

“We are putting activity-based rehabilitation at the heart of
our welfare support, through our commitment to build, equip and
operate The Royal British Legion’s Battle Back Centre in
partnership with the Ministry of Defence,” Mr Thompson said.

From 1 September 2011, repatriations of fallen Service personnel
are due to transfer from RAF Lyneham to RAF Brize Norton, ahead of
the closure of RAF Lyneham later in the year. The Royal British
Legion, along with other organisations, has been in consultation
with Oxfordshire County Council, Thames Valley Police and RAF Brize
Norton over the route that fallen Service personnel will take from
RAF Brize Norton to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Our
views have been taken into account in informing the route decision
and we feel the chosen route and related plans will provide our
members and the wider public with appropriate opportunities to
continue to pay their respects.

Within RAF Brize Norton, a repatriation centre for bereaved
families has been constructed on the southern side of the runway
and corteges will consequently leave the base by the gate
(Britannia gate) nearest to that. The area around Britannia gate is
being landscaped.

Oxfordshire County Council has commissioned a Memorial Garden at
Norton Way on the repatriation route, near RAF Brize Norton, Brize
Norton village and Carterton, and the Legion has been helping to
design this. The Union Flag will be flown at the garden on the days
repatriations take place. Trees and poppies will be planted around
it. The Legion believes that the garden will become a focal point
and a fitting place for all members of the public and Legion
members wishing to gather silently as the corteges pass, to pay
their respects to the fallen. There is an intent to commission a
Memorial Bell for the Memorial Garden and fundraising is taking
place to enable this.

The whole nation and beyond has been moved by the quiet tributes
paid to the fallen when corteges passed through Wootton Bassett and
it is hoped that the ceremony and commemoration on the new route
will remain spontaneous and dignified.

The Legion encourages its members to pay honour and respect to
those who have fallen in Service to the nation. Our presence is
most visibly demonstrated by the parading of the Branch Standards,
but as the Legion is part of the local community many Legion
members will stand silently among those who gather to pay their
respects.

The Legion is not responsible for repatriation flights and
ceremonies themselves, these are military operations. The detail of
the route remains a responsibility of the Ministry of Defence and
the Civic Authorities. Oxfordshire County Council
have the details of the repatriation route and other
arrangements via the following link href=”http://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/wps/portal/publicsite/!ut/p/c5/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3gzC-MgU09LYwMLA3dzA08DM2eXUD8vAwNTc6B8JJK8gZGZpYFRmJ9fkLm5q2GwhykB3eEg-_DrB8kb4ACOBvp-Hvm5qfoFuREGWSaOigBaLhbd/dl3/d3/L0lDU0lKSWdrbUEhIS9JRFJBQUlpQ2dBek15cXchLzRCRWo4bzBGbEdpdC1iWHBBRUEhLzdfNjgzUjVJOTMwR1VTNDBJNFBGVDIwTzAwUTAvWGZ2UUMxMjk5MDAzMA!!/?WCM_PORTLET=PC_7_683R5I930GUS40I4PFT20O00Q0012425_WCM&WCM_GLOBAL_CONTEXT=http://apps.oxfordshire.gov.uk/wps/wcm/connect/occ/internet/council+services/community+and+living/our+work+with+communities/armed+forces+in+oxfordshire/cd+-+owwc+-+repatriations”
